Niche Job Board Outlook 2008: NoStateIncomeTaxJobs.com is Moving on Up

I am on cloud 9 about NoStateIncomeTaxJobs.com of late. Why all the glee? Well, we have doubled our daily unique visitors for the last 2 months. And you may recall this past September, I blogged about my joy over our Alexa ranking moving from 7 million to 960,000 in 21 days. Now, just over 2 months later, our Alexa ranking is 275,305. All told, in only 3 months, NoStateIncomeTaxJobs.com has jumped from 7 million to 275,305—a growth spurt fueled with zero dollar advertising and marketing budget.
As 2007 draws to a close and we focus on our Niche Job Board’s outlook for 2008, I think about the fact there are millions of websites and thousands of general and niche job boards on the internet and ranked on Alexa. And our start-up Niche Job Board which focuses exclusively on job opportunities in Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming has a growing existence among them all.
I know Alexa is not perfect as it is based primarily on internet users utilizing the Alexa tool bar. But there are literally tens of millions of people using the Alexa toolbar. That, coupled with our own unique visitor traffic stats, is a pretty good indication for us we are steadily moving in the right direction.
We have recently streamlined the registration process for job seekers so they can quickly take advantage of job opportunities advertised by preferred employers in the nine states that currently do not tax income on personal wages. We have also introduced a new a Royal Treatment Quick Job Posting service for employers, recruiters and hiring managers—-we will do the job posting for them and they don’t even have to register.
Going into 2008, there will be additional significant changes and improvements on this Niche Job Board including an increase in partnerships, focused content, cross marketing and job opportunities. Stay in touch or introduce yourself as we keep this momentum going.
